The illegal flow of counterfeit goods would weaken domestic production without great determination of leaders of inferior levels, the Deputy PM warned in a recent meeting.
Illegal smuggling and trade frauds in Northern border provinces have become complicated again since October, said Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Cam Tu.
The illegal trade of counterfeit products including clothes, wine, beer, tobacco, fire-crackers, and violent toys tends to rise before the Lunar New Year Festival.
According to the Ministry’s Department of Market Management, around 80,000 cases have been detected this year./.
