The Vietnam Folk Arts Association organized an annual award ceremony to eight folk artists with their great contributions for the preservation and development of Vietnam folk culture, took place in Hanoi on December 28.
This year, the award honored best research works of Vietnamese folk artists for the preservation and development of Vietnam folk culture, including research project for the tombstone of Muong ethnic people in Hoa Binh province, ceremony of Muong ethnic people in Nghe An and others.
Earlier, the award attracted participation of 84 research works of folk artists across over the country.
