At the Hanoi meeting with National Assembly Vice Chairman Huynh Ngoc Son on February 26, Park said he hopes Vietnam will continue assisting foreign businesses, including those from the RoK, in their operations in the country.

The RoK official told the host that his entourage will work with ministry officials to explore investment climate here.

Vice Chairman Son showed his delight that the two countries’ strategic partnership has been growing in a wide range of fields, notably politics, defence, security, and trade.

Acknowledging Park’s valuable and practical assistance in promoting bilateral friendship and cooperation, Son said he hopes the Honorary Consul General will uphold his role as a close friend of Vietnamese people and act as a bridge to enhance relations between the two countries.

The consul general is also expected to work with the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK to protect the legitimate interests of the Vietnamese citizens in the host country.
