February 26, 2014 – PPC issued an official document asking the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate related departments and localities in building detail plans and organizing activities in response to the World Water Day 2014 in the province.
Accordingly, they will hold a scientific seminar and a display on the theme of “Water and Energy“, and a parade for the World Water Day. In addition, they will launch a campaign to call for community participation in removing river and drainage sediments and planting forest to protect water resource. Newsreels on water protection and utilization will be broadcast on local television, while leaflets distributed to local residents.
PPC also requested that all departments, unions, associations and the PC of all districts and cities cooperate with the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment in implementing those meaningful activities.
