The southern Central Highland province of Dak Lak greeted 42,000 tourist arrivals in March, an 11.4 percent rise over a year earlier, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Of this, number of foreign tourists reached 4,500, up 1.13 percent compared to the same month last year, while 37,500 arrivals were domestic tourists, up 1.14 percent.
The room occupancy rate reached 67 percent, a 1.03 percent rise over a year previous. Total tourism turnover was estimated at VND35 trillion, up 1.03 percent./.
