(VOV) – Vietnamese Nguyen Thi Anh Vien has bagged two gold medals at FL Swimming Spring Senior Championship 2014 being held in the US from February 27 to March 2.
In the 200-yard freestyle event, Vien grabbed a gold medal after clocking a time of 1:47:34.
In the 400-yard individual medly, she surpassed other strong rivals to clinch another gold, clocking in at 4:8:21.
The pool at the tournament has a total length of 50 yeard (equivalent to over 45.7 metres). Therefore, Vien’s achievements are much better than her record in Orlando (with a time of 4:41:68).
The wins prove the Vietnamese swimmer has progressed remarkably from training courses in the US.
