Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan gives scholarships to disadvantaged children

(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan on Sunday gave 120 scholarships worth 18,000 USD to disadvantaged children in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, in a ceremony organized by the Vietnam Children’s Fund.

On this occasion, the Fund gave savings books worth 250 USD each to 12 orphans in Ha Long City with outstanding academic achievement. The program encourages local disadvantaged children to try harder in their studies.
