By orders of the Vietnamese Defense Ministry, three aircraft and two boats have joined the search for the Malaysia Airlines plane that crashed off Vietnam’s Tho Chu Island this morning (local time).

By orders of the Vietnamese Defense Ministry, three aircraft and two boats have joined the search for the Malaysia Airlines plane that crashed off Vietnam’s Tho Chu Island this morning (local time).
Specifically, a coast guard boat CSB 2001 has left Hon Cau, a AN 26 plane has take off from Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, and a SAR 413 rescue boat have left Vung Tau to join the search for the crashed Boeing 777 plane.
All these force are moving south toward the area where the plane crashed at 1:40 am local time (1840 GMT Friday).
The plane was carrying 239 people from 14 countries from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it crashed.
