(Cinet) – Project on maintaining and developing some values of Xoan singing is built in a total VND 165 billion under an approval of the Government in late 2013.
The Project is divided into two main periods. Up to 2016, Phu Tho will focus on training some artisans to teach Xoan singing in a community; promoting to collect and study some songs of Xoan singing; enhance to exercise Xoan singing in locality. Also, the period also establish the Center on Maintaining and developing some intangible cultural values to honour some values of the heritage to the public. Up to 2015, it is necessary to turn Xoan singing into a list of Intnagible Cultural Heritage of Human being.
In 2016-2020 period, Phu Tho will focus on investing and restoring 5 relics to restore some festivals to build a cultural space of Xoan singing and Hung King worshipping festival. The province tries to restore some rest relics to upgrade some customs and rituals of the Xoan singing. Phu Tho will increase more role and responsibilities of some levels and agencies and social organizations to maintain the heritage.
