Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Le Hoang Quan met with China’s Minister of Culture Cai Wu on April 21 during his visit in Vietnam.
Chairman Quan welcomed the minister warmly.
Ho Chi Minh City government cooperates with many provinces of China. Currently, the city has attracted 130 projects of Chinese investors with a total of US$ 300 million, said Quan.
Minister Wu confirmed the need to strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries. It plays an important role for promoting cooperation.
The minister visited Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper previously. He will introduce leading newspapers such as People’s Daily Newspaper as a partner of Sai Gon Giai Phong.
