Luxury cruise ships brings 750 foreign tourists to Phu Quoc

On April 23, the Saigon Travel and Service Company (Saigontourist) received 750 tourists on Hapag-Lloyd’s Hanseatic luxury cruise ship which docked at Phu Quoc island, in the southern province of Kien Giang.


The tourists are mainly from Germany. This is the first time a Hanseatic luxury cruise ship has arrived in Vietnam this year.


From April 29 to May 3, the high-end cruise ship will return to Vietnam on its trans-Viet route to Ho Chi Minh city, Hue and Ha Long.


Saigontourist reported that in the first four months of this year, the company received and provided services to more than 80 international high-end cruise ships from the world’s leading firms such as Star Cruises, Costa Crociere S.p.A, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. They brought hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists from Italy, France, England, Portugal, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, the US, Canada and Australia to Vietnam.


In April alone, Saigontourist welcomed five luxury cruises from Europe./.
