Promoting green consumption and manufacture through Sustainable Public Procurement and Ecolabelling

​In the morning February 18th,Vietnam Environmental Administration in collaboration with United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) organized a workshop for launching the project “Promoting consumption, green manufacture through Sustainable Public Procurement and Ecolabelling” – Vietnam component (referred to as project SPPEL).

The project SPPEL will be implemented for three years (2014-2016) in Hanoi and some provinces/cities in Vietnam. The project will support Vietnam governmental agencies in capacity building and technical improvement to develop and implement policy on promoting consumption, green manufacture through sustainable public procurement and ecolabelling so as to achieve maximum effectiveness of the two tools.
