In the morning of 23 April 2014, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho gave a reception and worked with Mr. Haike Manning, the Ambassador of New Zealand in Vietnam on his trip to search chances for extending cooperation in the Central Region. Related departments and sectors attended the reception.
At the reception, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho expressed his gladness to receive Sir Haike Mannning visiting Thua Thien Hue province and also informed the provincial socio- economic situation, potentials and strengths as well as fields that Thua Thien Hue province was focusing on boosting up and developing.
Sir Haike Manning revealed that in 2015, the 40th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relation there would be several programs and activities. Therefore, on the trip to the Central region this time the Ambassador of New Zealand wanted to learn about and extend the cooperation among provinces of the Central region, especially Da Nang and Thua Thien Hue. In which, New Zealand will pay attention to join training programs of human resource in tourism, services, provision of health management programs, etc and expected to establish the relationship, cooperation and assistance in all fields basing on each party’s potentials and strengths.
