The provincial People’s Committee has given directions on intensifying the use of unburned building materials in construction works in the area.
The Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee has given directions on intensifying the use of unburned building materials and limiting the production and use of burned clay bricks in construction works in the area.
Although the program of developing unburned building materials has been implemented for several years, there remain many inadequacies and unburned building materials are yet to be widely applied.
There are only three enterprises producing unburned bricks in the province with a total design capacity of approximately 359 million bricks and 60,000 tons of light concrete mortar/ year.
Besides, two enterprises are executing unburned material production projects with a design capacity of 213.3 million bricks/ year.
Thus, the provincial People’s Committee required relevant departments and branches and district People’s Committees to do research to supplement and improve mechanisms and policies, propose solutions to encourage producing and prioritizing the use of unburned building materials, gradually reducing the production and use of burned clay bricks, etc.
