The Vietnamese version of a British game show will air on Ho Chi Minh City Television early next month, featuring numerous episodes with unpredictable and exciting challenges.

Ai Dam Hat” (Who Dares to Sing), the Vietnamese format of British game show “Sing If You Can,” jointly produced by BHD Cinema and the HCMC Television station, will be aired at 9:30 pm on HTV7 every Wednesday from June 4.

Each episode showcases the competition between two teams, each of which comprises two well-known Vietnamese artists who have to perform a solo or duet whilst various attempts are made to disrupt their performances.

The team receiving the most votes from the jury and studio audiences will enter the final round, “Victorious Rotation,” which requires them to maintain balance and avoid falling from a spinning stage while keep singing a song.

Vietnamese singer Ngo Kien Huy will host the show while the jury includes famous artists such as master of ceremonies Tran Thanh, actor Duc Hai, and singer My Le.

Sing If You Can” was initially produced and aired in the UK in 2011. It was shown in Vietnam in 2013 under the name “Do Ai Hat Duoc” (Who Is Able to Sing) and was temporarily suspended after ten episodes.

The show, which is well-known in some other countries including Thailand and U.S., fascinates viewers thanks to its unpredictable and challenging tasks that force players to make a lot of effort to complete while creating many humorous situations.
