HA NOI (VNS)— Three Vietnamese universities were listed in the 2014 Quacquarelli Symond (QS) rankings for leading universities in Asia, according to Nguyen Huu Duc, Deputy Director of Viet Nam National University (VNU) in Ha Noi.
They are the VNU campuses in the capital and HCM City as well as the Ha Noi University of Science and Technology.
The rankings were based on evaluations by scholars and recruiters, the student/teacher ratio, the number of articles published on Scopus (a database containing abstracts and citations for academic journal articles) and the number of foreign lecturers and students working at the campus.— VNS
