13 Vietnamese people were killed and four others injured after a coach collided early Monday with a truck in Thailand.
The crash happened at around 5 a.m. when the inter-province bus was carrying a group of Vietnamese tourists from Bangkok to Nong Bua Lumpu Province bordering Laos.
The bus also caught fire after the crash.
Eyewitnesses said the collision caused a big explosion. They said they believed the driver, who was among the four injured, had fallen asleep before the accident occurred.
The victims’bodies are now being kept at a local hospital, awaiting repatriation. It is not immediately clear if there were other foreign tourists on board.
