Nguyen Van Hieu will represent numerous voluntary blood donors of Hai Duong to attend the ceremony honoring Vietnam’s typical voluntary blood donors in 2014 to be held today (June 14) in the capital city of Ha Noi.
Hieu, born in 1988, is an official of the provincial Agricultural Extension Center and a member of the Rare Blood Group Club (ABRH+) of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
He has voluntarily donated blood 15 times.
The ceremony will honor 100 typical blood donors. These are the people who have donated blood a lot of times or both donated blood and actively participated in developing the movement, mobilizing their relatives and friends to take part, etc.
