Japanese businesses keep faith in city’s investment environment

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan highly appreciated Japan’s cooperative programs to the city’s socio-economic development at a meeting with new Japanese Consul General Nakajima Satoshi on June 9.


Many key infrastructure projects have been funded by Japanese ODA, such as Tan Son Nhat Terminal International Airport, East-West Avenue, Tunnel crossing Saigon River, metro rail system.


The new Consul General also highly valued positive measures and policies of the Vietnamese and the municipal authorities to support foreign businesses, including Japanese enterprises in long-term investment and operation in Vietnam.
