In the last several years, the military semester program has become one of the most interesting summer activities for parents and students nationwide.
This playing and learning ground provides a real “military environment” for students to practice their solidarity, discipline and soft skills, thus becoming more mature.
Vu Ngoc Duc, a student from Hon Gai ward, Ha Long city took part in the military semester program 2013 in the 147th Marine Brigade of Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province. After just 10 days of participation, he can now keep regular hours, take care of himself and assist in folding blankets and nets, washing up, and cleaning floors.
This year is the third time that Quang Ninh province has implemented the military semester program. It has been expanded to all districts, towns and cities in the province, whereas last year only Ha Long city was included.
So far, youth union organizations at all levels have actively made contact with military services in the province, mobilizing human resources and finalizing the best content of the program. The announcement of the military semester program 2014 was sent to educational units of all provinces.
Under the theme “We work as the solider“, this year’s program in Quang Ninh province has expanded its scale, duration and content, thus hoping to offer a safe and practical summer activity for students.
The program will begin on June 20 in Ha Long city, on June 21 in Mong Cai city, and in early July in Cam Pha city./.
