Handing over the money in support of house construction to a representative of Pham Thi Cham’s family
The Hai Duong Newspaper in collaboration with Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd. on the morning of June 5 presented VND30 million in support of house construction to Pham Thi Cham (born in 1959 in Dong Trang hamlet, Quang Phuc commune, Tu Ky).
Having been handicapped since childhood, Cham can not walk by herself and has to depend on her relatives for care. She is living alone in a deteriorated house.
With the support money, local authorities and her relatives will help Cham heighten the foundation to prevent inundation, reinforce the roof to prevent leaking, expand the door and veranda, build auxiliary works, etc.
Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd. and the Hai Duong Newspaper have coordinated with each other to implement many humanitarian activities. Since 2011, the two sides have helped two disadvantaged people newly build or upgrade their houses.
