“City of Good Local Economic Development and Livability” contest launched

The Hai Duong municipal People’s Committee on the afternoon of July 22 launched the contest “City of Good Local Economic Development and Livability“.


Ms. Ngo Thi Tam, Deputy Secretary-General of the Association of Cities of Vietnam, Director of the Vietnamese side of LOGOVIC Project, awards the certificate of joining in the contest

The competition is taking place from now until February 2015 with a series of such main activities as training representatives of officials, public servants, civil servants, and business households; reviewing administrative procedures in the field of business registration licensing; conducting a poll on satisfaction levels of people at “one-stop” sections; maintaining the business household column on the city’s website; promulgating a coordination mechanism between the city’s units and relevant ones, etc.



The jury will summarize and evaluate the contest according to criteria with the 100-point scale.


The competition is an activity within the framework of the project “Strengthening Local Governance for Local Economic Growth in Vietnamese Cities” (abbreviated as LOGOVIC) funded by the European Union and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
