The Ministry of Health launched July 16 a public contest for a healthcare public service message to collect ideas about preventing diseases and supporting vaccination.
Entries include written messages, standard-sized posters no more than 30 words, video of no longer than two minutes and radio spot of less than 1.5 minutes.
The designed public health message contest aims to call for participation of individual and community in fighting disease and expanded immunization; thus, it is expected to increase parental and social awareness of vaccination, said Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long.
The contest will focus on main themes including expanded immunization, fighting against hand-foot-mouth, dengue fever, measles, Japanese encephalitis and general diseases.
Vietnamese people living in the country and abroad as well as foreigners in Vietnam are eligible for participating in the contest, said organizer. Entries will be launched in the website: http://ift.tt/1zLpV05

Prize giving ceremony will be held in October, 2014 with prizes ranging from VND2 – 20 million (US$ 94.3- 943.8)
