PANO – The organization panel of the contest “Uncle Ho’s soldiers – People’s soldiers” held a get-together for leaders, reporters and editors from newspapers and televisions in the army on July 25th.
It was co-chaired by Major General Duong Dinh Thong, Director of the Public Relations Department of the General Department of Politics; Major General Nguyen Hoai Nam, Director of the Military Broadcasting Centre, and Colonel Pham Van Huan, Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Army Newspaper.
The contest was launched from December 2013 with the aim of promptly finding out and honoring units and individuals with outstanding results in implementing public relations tasks, and marking the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and 25th anniversary of the Whole People’s Defence Day.
Till date, the organization panel received hundreds of entries. Among them, many works were published in the newspaper’s matters.
Colonel Pham Van Huan highly valued the cooperation of the army press for the contest over the past time and encourage reporters to write more articles on this field.
