The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will host many activities to mark the 85th anniversary of Vietnam Labor Union (28 July, 1929 and 28 July, 2014), announced by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor at a press conference on July 21.
The activities aim to highlight great role of working class and labor union organizations. This is opportunity to review and commemorate glorious traditions of working class and organizations of labor union in the past 85 years.
From July 22- 28, many meaning activities mark the 85th anniversary of Vietnam Labor Union like honoring conference of 85 outstanding labor union members, ‘the 85th anniversary of Vietnam Labor Union – the sustainable development’ seminar and others.
From July 19-24, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will visit labor union members across the country.
In addition, the delegation will visit and burn incenses at Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, President Ton Duc Thang Museum and Ton Duc Thang University in Ho Chi Minh City and memorials of Nguyen Duc Canh, who is the first chairman of the Vietnam Labor Union in Thai Binh and Hai Phong.
