A fire broke out at a wood processing company in HCM City’s Binh Chanh District yesterday morning, destroying its 1,000-square-metre workshop. The local police mobilised more than 20 fire engines and 100 firefighters to extinguish the blaze, which was finally stamped out after seven hours. A large number of products and equipment of the company were destroyed in the fire, but no injuries were reported. The case is under investigation. – VNA Photo
