Mr. Le Hong Anh met with Quang Ngai's high-level leaders on July 30
Mr. Le Hong Anh – a member of the Political Bureau, Standing Secretary of Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on July 30 met with high-level authorities of Quang Ngai province about the Jan.-Jun. socio-economic situation and the upcoming 6-month plans of the year.
For the preparation of the upcoming congress of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee, a number of plans were issued in accordance with the instruction No. 36 by the Political Bureau.
Mr. Minh said that the planning of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee, secretary, deputy secretary of Provincial Party Committee in term of 2015-2020, as well as chairman of Provincial People’s Council, and chairman of Provincial People’s Committee in term of 2016-2020 were already approved.
Mr. Le Hong Anh appraised the good preparation of Quang Ngai for upcoming congress and the excellent efforts and close cooperation of Quang Ngai authorities in developing the provincial society and economy, reaching significant results.
He directed Quang Ngai to continually push up the development and try more efforts in completing the figures set forth for the year 2014 and next years.
He directed Quang Ngai to take full advantages of the Central Government’s supports and to kick off province’s potential and advantages.
He pointed that the most advantage of Quang Ngai province had been the Dung Quat Economic Zone where is home to as many as large-scale heavy industry plants under smooth and effectively operations, partly contributing to the development of province and surrounding areas as well.
Mr. Le Hong Anh visited the Museum of Late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong in Mo Duc district, Quang Ngai province.
So, the province needed to focus on expanding and developing Dung Quat Economic Zone as approved by the State Government, and the improvement of Dung Quat Refinery.
By the way, he asked Quang Ngai invested more in the fields of agriculture, farmer, and rural development. It is necessary for the province to organize special economy models to be suitable with local situations for creating resident’s income.
Mr. Le Hong Anh also directed Quang Ngai to focus on helping fishermen, particularly the project of giving soft loans for them to build steel fishing boats for better fishing offshore.Minh Chau
