PANO – Nearly 120 veterans who joined three Vietnam’s historical campaigns paid a visit and presented gifts to troops under Coast Guard Region 2 on August 9th.

The three historical campaigns in Vietnam consist of the Dien Bien Phu in 1954, Dien Bien Phu in the air in 1972 and Ho Chi Minh in 1975.
The veterans gave coast guards who are safeguarding national sacred sea and islands VND 50 million.
They also took the occasion to present insignias to 31 officers and soldiers of Coast Guard Region 2.
Notably, they had an artistic exchange with coast guards. In the exchange, they sung songs in praise of the homeland, national sea and islands and the brave combats of our people.
