PANO – At midday of August 8th, Sergeant Major Pham Gia Hop and Senior Lieutenant Colonel Le Duc Doan from the traffic police unit No.1 of the Hanoi Public Security found a 6-six-year-old girl walking hurriedly on Chuong Duong bridge with nervous look.
Immediately, they rushed to the girl and found out that she has lost the way back home.
The two policemen comforted the poor girl to get more information from her to find ways to take her home.
The two policemen also provided her with milk and cakes to ease her hunger.
Having learnt that her name is Vuong Kim Chi, a two grader in the Ai Mo primary school in Long Bien district, Hanoi, they contacted her teacher to notify the news to her family.
Nearly two hours later, her mother Doan Thi Khuyen, in Ngoc Lam ward, Long Bien, arrived at the office of the traffic police unit No.1 to take her daughter home.
The mother said that while the family members were having an afternoon nap, Chi went out and got lost.
She sincerely thanked for and praised the act of the two policemen.
