PANO – The General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army has handed over a gratitude house to Mrs. Nguyen Thi May in Tan Hong ward, Tu Son town, Bac Ninh province.
She is the widow of martyr Tran Van Ty, who had sacrificed in a battle in the national resistance war against the French colonists.
On August 8th, Depot K812 of the General Department of Techniques presented a house to veteran Vu Xuan Sam in Nghia Tien commune, Thai Hoa town, Nghe An province, who has been leading a very hard life.
The unit donated VND 70 million, extracted from its charity fund, and 30 working days for the house’s construction.
