The Provincial Traffic Safety Board will continue to execute strict control on vehicle load and inspect home-made vehicles in the province.
To strengthen assurance of traffic safety order (TSO) on the occasions of September 2 National Day holidays and beginning of a new school year, the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee has required relevant departments and local authorities to further intensify the propaganda and education of laws on TSO to the people, particular attention paid to pupils and students.
The Provincial Traffic Safety Board will continue to execute strict control on vehicle load and inspect home-made vehicles in the province.
The Department of Education and Training is requested not to leaving pupils violate TSO, especially acts of riding motorcycles without driving licenses, electric motorbikes or electric bicycles without wearing specifichelmets, weaving, swinging, carrying more people than regulated numbers, keepingabreast when riding, etc.
The Provincial Public Security and Transport Department will strengthen forces on duty along high traffic volume roads and complicated traffic points where congestions are prone to happenfor timely settlement; promote patroling to handle violations which are major causes of accidents; check bus and train stations, boat and ferry landings, ensure that vehicles are safe before leaving stations, and resolutely and immediately suspend unsafe vehicles and people for vehicle riding.
Traffic Safety Boards at district, provincial town, and city levels will direct People’s Committees at communal, ward, and district town levels to step up propaganda among the people, especially parents of pupils and students; coordinate with schools in educating their pupils and students to strictly abide by the law on TSO; and promptly prevent and tackle violations of road and rail safety zone, maintain no re-encroachment after site clearance.
