PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defence, on September 18th inspected the Ba Son Corporation of the General Department of Defence Industry.

Over the past years, the corporation’s employees have considerably mastered shipbuilding technologies, and at present are building six Molniya missile boats, which will be launched in 2017.
The unit also teamed up with Russian partners in batch production of battleships. Since 2007, it has sent nearly 30 missions to Russia to study modern specialized technologies.
General Vinh highly valued the corporation’s efforts to do business, stressed the important role of the international cooperation in promoting its cadres and workers’ professionalism, and asked them to create favorable conditions for visas for foreign experts working in Vietnam.
