VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Sunday attended the ground-breaking ceremony of Thai Nguyen- Bac Kan expressway and upgrading the national highway No. 3 at the 75th-100th kilometer section.

The new expressway will link Son Cam commune in Phu Luong district of Thai Nguyen province with Thanh Binh commune in Cho Moi district of Bac Kan province with total length of 40, 3 kilometers.
The build-operate-transfer expressway is scheduled to complete in 2016.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung emphasized that the project will play an important role to promote socio-economic development the two provinces and the Northern region.
Infrastructure development is one of the three strategic breakthroughs enshrined in the Resolution passed at the 11th National Party Congress./.
