Piaggio Vietnam issued a recall on 14,291 Vespa scooters, on Saturday, produced between May 13, 2013 and January 10, 2014.
The Italian scooter manufacturer said it wished to inspect and repair a defect in the fuel pipe that can lead to leakages.
The recalled scooters (including models such as Lx 3V i.e, Vespa S 3V i.e, Vespa LXV i.e and Vespa LT 3V i.e) will be checked and fixed at no charge in between 10 and 60 minutes each, according to Piaggio’s spokesman.
