Quang Ngai province – one of 13 provinces and cities across the country will attend the “Culture and Tourism Week of Vietnam’s Sea and Island – Hanoi 2014″ to be organized at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts from November 20th to 23rd.
The Week is jointly held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People’s Committee of Hanoi and relevant units.
The event aims to honor and popularize the cultural values of Vietnam’s coastal provinces and tourism potentials of Vietnam’s sea and islands to attract more investors, making contributions to socio-economic and cultural development of coastal areas.
Many activities will be organized during the Week including exhibition themed “Impression of Vietnam’s sea and island tourism and culture”; artistic program “Honoring Vietnam’s coastal culture”; seminar “Preserving and promoting cultural values of Vietnam’s sea and islands”; artistic and cultural exchange for students of “Youths with sea and island culture”; and performance of fork music about coastal people.
