PANO – Brigade 249 of the Engineering Arm has brought hovercraft into training courses for search and rescue missions and others.
The hovercraft, made in Australia, can carry seven troops and operate for four consecutive hours at speed of 15km/h on land and over 62km/h on water with three 100CV engines.
They are widely used in both civilian and military purposes worldwide.
Along with training for its troops, the brigade is studying and finalizing manuals on managing, maintaining and operating the vehicles.
