PANO – The Military Zone 9 Command, on September 21st, inaugurated and officially put a combined drill-ground in operation in Can Tho city. The event took place in the presence of Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

The construction started in April 2013 with the investment of VND 14.4 billion by the Staff of Military Zone 9.
The drill-ground consists of 4 training sections, namely infantry combat training section, training section for armored companies, combined shooting range, and techno-tactical training section for special reconnaissance and commando forces.
The zone’s troops conducted combat training on the newly built drill-ground right after the inauguration ceremony.
The operation of the drill-ground will improve training quality of the military region.
