PANO – The Military Zone 1 Command on September 25th reviewed the “Determined to Win” emulation movement in the 2009-2014 period, in the presence of Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA).
During the campaign, thousands of the zone’s individuals and units were conferred with certificates and titles by the Government, Ministry of National Defence and other levels.

Addressing the meeting, Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan asked the unit to continue combining the emulation and reward work with its implementation of political tasks.
On this occasion, the Command presented certificates to its cadres with good achievements in this period’s “Determined to Win” emulation drive and the “Military Zone 1 joins hands in building new rural areas” movement.
The same day, the VPA’s General Department of Logistics held a get-together for its outstanding examples in emulation movements in the above period. The participants shared their experience in effectively responding to these campaigns.
