A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Cao Quoc Hung attended the 11th APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Energy Ministers Meeting (EMM11) in Beijing on September 2.
The two-day meeting brought together 29 delegations from the 21 member economies of APEC and relevant international organisations.
At a seminar, Vietnam’s representative delivered a speech about their successful implementation of the Energy Preservation and Energy Efficiency Programme. Deputy industry and trade minister Hung highlighted the country’s progress as well as lessons learned from the Law for Energy Savings and Energy Efficiency.
The meeting focused on energy security, energy investment and trade, sustainable and efficient energy community development and clean energy resources.
