VGP – State President Truong Tan Sang on October 2 cabled a message of congratulations to German President Joachim Gauck on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the National Day of Germany (October 3, 1990).
PM Nguyen Tan Dung extended his greetings to German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The same day, Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh sent his congratulations to German FM Frank Walter – Steinmeir.
Viet Nam-Germany Strategic Partnership turned the third year this year. The two countries’ two-way trade attained US$7.7 billion in 2013. As of August this year, Germany has poured more than US$1.3 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in 136 projects in Viet Nam.
The 14th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business (APK) will be held from November 20-22, 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City.
