(VOV) – Over 35 Vietnamese businesses are casting the spotlight on Made-in-Vietnam brand agricultural, forestry, seafood, art and handicraft goods at the 16th annual Russian Agricultural FairGolden Autumn 2014“, which kicked off in Moscow on October 8.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Vu Van Tam said Vietnamese agriculture exports to Russia were just US$400 million in 2013, occupying only a 0.1% market share of the country’s total exports.

There is exponential opportunity for expansion of trade, Tam said. Through fair, Vietnam hopes to raise its exports to the Eurasian nation and establish long term cooperative relations with Russian businesses.
