Police in Vietnam have taken down a high-end prostitution ring involving local models and beauties where clients have to pay US$1,500 per night.
The ring’s operator and two female prostitutes, including a contestant of “Nguoi Dep Toa sang 2013″ (Miss Shining Beauty 2013), have been detained pending investigation.
The high-priced sex ring was operated by 33-year-old Nguyen Van Hoang, a.k.a. Hoang “mẫu” (Hoang “model”), who lives in Hanoi, according to the Police Department of Criminal Investigation in Social Order (C45).
The ring charged its clients from $300 to $500 per encounter and $1,500 per night, of which Hoang pocketed 30 percent as a brokering fee, police said.
Hoang also organized “sex tours” to many provinces and cities across Vietnam at agreed upon prices. Regular customers of the ring include businessmen or rich men.
Hoang was able to recruit women for the sex ring through his good relationship with many local singers, models and participants of beauty pageants.
