Police in the beach town of Vung Tau have arrested two men in unrelated revenge porn cases.

The men were both accused of posting naked or revealing photos of their ex-girlfriends on Facebook.

On October 27, Vu Van Kien, 18 turned himself in after learning that he was being sought by police, Ba Ria-Vung Tau newspaper reported.

Kien, who has been fined twice for using drugs and fighting, allegedly posted naked photos of his girlfriend several times last month after she decided to break up with him in July.

The victim told police she broke up with Kien because he is a violent person.

She said Kien had threatened to kill her relatives if she insisted on ending their relationship.

In a similar but unrelated case, Vung Tau police arrested a 42-year-old man for posting pictures of his ex-girlfriend in her underwear on Facebook.

Nguyen Huu Nam is being investigated on charges of “humiliating another person,” a police source said.

Police said Nam began a romantic relationship with a 32-year-old woman, identified only as T, in 2012.

They often rented a hotel room where Nam often took photos and videos of T after having sex.

They broke up in March and T took a job in Thailand.

Thinking T had a new boyfriend, Nam posted photos of her in underwear on his Facebook page.

Police said Nam posted 11 photos between September 5 and 26.

After learning what Nam had done, T returned to Vietnam and reported the case to local police.

According to the Penal Code, those who seriously infringe upon the dignity or honor of other person(s) shall be subject to warnings, non-custodial reform for up to two years or a prison term of between three months and two years.
