PANO – The Army Academy on December 12th handed over a charity house to the family of Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Tan, a needy employee of the Office of the academy.
The house was constructed in an area of 70m2 consisting of a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, an attic, and sanitary facilities. Out of the total construction cost of VND 100 million, the academy supported VND 70 million. The rest was contributed by the beneficiary’s family.
This is the fifth house built and handed over to the beneficiaries this time. The total cost of VND 350 million for the five houses was deducted from the academy’s fund and the contribution of the officers and soldiers of the academy. Besides the signifciance of humanity, this is also one of the practical activities of the academy to celebrate the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22nd 1944 – December 22nd 2014) and the 25th whole people’s national defense day”.
