 The 5 millionth tourist was welcomed at Da Nang international airport (CPV) – On December 30th, Da Nang international airport received its 5 millionth tourist on VietJet Air’s flight VJ511 from Hanoi to Da Nang. Together with Tran Minh Thinh – the 5 millionth visitor, two following tourists Yasuda Takenori from Japan and Nguyen Thi Thuy Ly from Hanoi were warmly welcomed at the airport. Phung Tan Viet, Deputy Chairman of the Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee, said in his speech to congratulate the lucky tourists that five million tourists a year was the province’s target for 2020 but the airport had achieved that this year. He added that the airport plans to expand its terminal capacity to manage up to 10 million tourists a year. On this occasion, Vietjet Air offered a one-year free flight open ticket for Tran Minh Thinh, a pair of return tickets to Thailand and a pair of round-trip tickets to Singapore./. |
