PANO – Da Nang City Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin on the morning of January 20th celebrated its 10th founding anniversary (January 22nd 2005 – January 22nd 2015).
As reviewed at the ceremony, over the past 10 years, the association has proactively proposed to the authorities to issue guidelines and support policies for Agent Orange victims. The association has also actively played the key role in calling for people of all walks of life, domestic and overseas organizations and individuals to join hands in taking care of the victims in the city. Besides the support from the state budget, the association has raised more than VND 70 billion to help the victims, and their families ease difficulties and integrate into the community.

The organizational structure of the association has also been consolidated with the establishment of its branches in all the districts, communes and wards of the city and its activitieshave focused on the fight for justice and on calling for support for the victims. The contents and forms of the association’s activities have regularly been innovated to ensure their efficiency.
On this special occasion, Da Nang City Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin launched the movement “A Warm Lunar New Year for Victims of Agent Orange” with the involvement of organizations and individuals to join hands in bringing a warm lunar new year 2015 to the victims.
