PANO – A joint mission of the Ministry of National Defence and some units, led by Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, inspected the project constructing Truong Son Dong road on January 7th.

The mission worked with different bidding packages crossing mountainous districts of the Central province of Quang Nam in order to evaluate the project progress and then report to the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee so that more fund would be poured to the project.
So far, 57 packages or nearly 469km out of total 657km of the project were implemented. Among them, about 460km of the road was opened for traffic.
The delegates agreed that the road construction was on the right track and recommended that the NA’s Finance and Budget Committee for the Central Military Commission would include packages constructing through residential areas in the list of priorities.
