PANO – After three days, the HQ 621 and HQ 609 with Tet gifts on board approached the platforms of Ba Ke, Phuc Nguyen, Tu Chinh and Huyen Tran on January 18th.

Due to strong winds and huge waves, the mission from the Naval Region 2 Command had to pulley the Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts for troops on the platforms.

Notably, the mission used a loudspeaker to inquire after and send best Tet wishes to them.

Weather developments are forecast to worsen in the coming days, hindering the mission’s attempt to directly present the Tet gifts to troops. Despite difficulties, Senior Colonel Truong Cong The, Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Region 2 Command, stressed that all Tet gifts would be handed to the recipients by all means.
