PANO – Nearly 6,500 foreigners and locals participated in the Second Ho Chi Minh City Run held by the city’s Track and Field Federation on January 18th.
Accordingly, they competed in different distances of 5km for all ages, and 10km and 21km semi-marathon.
Nguyen Dang Duc Bao wins first prize in professional category.
Athletes Hoang Nguyen Thanh and Nguyen Dang Khoa finished first in the men’s category, while Lam Thi Thuy and Nguyen Dang Thanh Thuy won the women’s category in 21km event for professional and amateur racers, respectively.
For the 10km event for men, athletes Nguyen Dang Duc Bao and Dinh Hoang Vu won the first prizes in professional and amateur categories, respectively.
The race was considered a sound play ground for foreigners and locals, aiming at boosting the sports training spirit.
Besides, the organizing panel hosted a sports exhibition and workshop, and provided nutrition consultancy for the participants.
