Troops on Tien Nu Island receive Tet gifts

PANO – Tet gifts from the Ministry of National Defence, army units and people nationwide reached troops on Tien Nu Islands on January 17th.

The gifts were carried by the mission headed by Senior Colonel Phan Ngoc Quang, Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 146 of Naval Region 4 Command.


Tien Nu Island lies in the easternmost part of Truong Sa district and more than 400 nautical miles from the mainland. It is the final destination of the HQ 571 during its trip to islands of Truong Sa island district.


Since January 5th, the HQ 571 has surmounted strong winds and rough seas to carry the mission and the Tet gifts to troops on islands, sharing the mainland’s warm Tet holiday with the frontier soldiers.
